Two months ago I was able to go on vacation with my family in St Lucia. St Lucia is an incredibly beautiful island in the eastern Caribbean. It's home to the breathtaking Piton mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, amazing reefs teeming with tropical fish, and lush rainforests. All of these things make it easy to understand why the French and English fought over this island paradise for over 150 years.

Here's a list of must do activities while in St Lucia…. 

1. Visit the sulphur mud baths
2. Hike the Superman waterfall
3. Walk the Tet Paul Nature Trail
4. Scuba Dive the 14 dive sites on the southwest side of the island
5. Spend a day at Sugar Beach

Once you've spent time on this beautiful island and see how much they rely on the ocean for food, tourism, and economic support, you'll want to do your part to help them protect it. Most of the dive centers clean trash they see while in the ocean, but you can make sure your beach essentials are good for the ocean too. Make sure you wear reef safe sunscreen and a swimsuit made from recycled ocean waste.
