Hey BFAW Babes! I decided to feature one of my fav local spots for this new blog: Skinny’s Place. In case you’re new here, local means the Palmetto, Bradenton, and Sarasota areas in Florida for me. This geographic area is where I grew up, currently live, work, and play. 

One of my favorite places to go to find inspiration is the beach. I love to be outside and there’s no better feeling to me than the sun on your face and the squishy damp sand between your toes. And going to the beach normally meant a trip to Skinny’s.

I grew up going to Anna Maria island for beach days and almost always we’d stop at Skinny’s for cheeseburgers and curly fries. Skinny’s Place is located in an old building right across the street from the public beach. Besides the yummy food, the space feels reminiscent of an old Florida burger shack- comfy and homey.
