Lily's Beach Bag Must Haves
Being that Miami has summer weather year-round, I often have my beach bag already packed and ready to go! Let’s take a closer look at what I bring with me to the beach. These are my best finds of 2020!
-
Beach Bag
When looking for a beach bag, I always tend to go on the larger side just because I often tend to overpack (yes, this is me publicly admitting this!). A beach bag was never something I that I wanted to spend a lot of $ on, but I was having the issue with one never holding up longer than one season! I finally settled on the perfect tote and BAM! I found my everlasting beach bag. Haute Shore makes reliable, waterproof, washer-friendly, moderately-priced bags that are 100% worth it!

Towel
Finding a towel that is small enough to fit in your bag, yet able to fit 2+ people is not a simple task. However, the La Lucia Beach Blanket by Las Bayadas fits all of these credentials. It is extremely lightweight and easy to wash! The rainbow pattern is also super cute and trendy!

Sunscreen/ Lip Balm
If you have acne-prone skin, like me, I highly recommend Demalogica oil-free matte spf30. I do a dab of this, as well as mix in organic sunless tan anti-aging serum from Coola. This duo will work wonders, and besides, who doesn’t want to add a little color to their face?!
For my body- I ALWAYS pack the everyday lotion beach day set by Supergoop. I usually hate sunscreen because of the white residue it leaves, as well as a sticky feel, and this Supergoop screen does neither! It never hurts to also protect your lips from the sun, so I always pack my Dior Lip Glow. It comes in a variety a colors, but I always stick to the sheer ballet pink. It will bring out your lips natural pigment while also keeping you hydrated all day.

Hat/ Hair Accessories
Keeping my face out of the sun has been a big problem for me, but as I’ve begun to see more signs of sun damage, I became a huge hat advocate! Before this season began, I finally caved and bought an Ale by Alessandra hat and I have taken it everywhere with me since. It is stylish, yet preventative from the sun! If your hair also knots up in the wind like mine, I never leave the house without bringing my favorite scrunchies from LoveShackFancy (now on final sale!).

Sunglasses
Honestly, I would be lying if I told you that I wore sunglasses for the sole reason of protecting my eyes from the sun. The real reason is somewhere in between protecting me from the sun and trying to look the most glam while doing so. You’ll probably never catch me without my favorite sunnies from Fendi. A big shout out to my mom for my favorite gift ever and supporting me for being the most extra possible! (Disclaimer: these do not protect from the sun, BUT I absolutely love them).
