Book Review: Little Fires Everywhere
Hello BFAW Babes!
I’m often asked about good books to read on extra long flights to Bali or just hanging out at the beach.
Here is one of my latest reads that kept me in suspense until the end, Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng.
Little Fires Everywhere is set in the posh neighborhood of Shaker Heights where everything and everyone looks pretty perfect until one spring day when the youngest of the Richardson children sets their family home on fire. Izzy is definitely the unstable one of the bunch or is she the only one that sees the truth? When Mia, a talented artist, and her daughter move to town Izzy finally feels like she has a voice. To everyone’s dismay she can no longer keep quiet! The impact that Mia and Pearl have on the Richardson’s is undeniable. Mia has a secret of her own that she must come to terms with in order to salvage her relationship with Pearl. Mia has spent years on the move and when she finally decides to stay put for Pearl’s sake her secret is uncovered.
This book is such a page turner and super suspenseful. A definite favorite of mine and even recommended by Reese Witherspoon.
Enjoy!
